 Junior Paul

Junior Paul is a highly motivated professional with 20+ years experience in agricultural and natural resources development work. He assists businesses, NGOs and community- based organizations to solve specific problems regarding agricultural production and marketing as well as building local institutional capacity for sustainable development. He has engaged directly in building and managing of sustainable value- chain, market-based agriculture production activities for small holder producers, water user groups and the private sector. His activities have led to significantly increased production and income for mango producers and exporters, as well a

 s successful penetration into the US Fair Trade and Organic produce markets with the Hillside Agriculture Program (HAP). Mr. Paul is an experienced team-builder with extensive cross-cultural experience. He is self-motivated, enthusiastic and has been consistently cited for the ability to achieve rapid yet sustainable results as the field level. He has strong practical knowledge of the international markets, business practices and trade regulations.

James Chapman

James Chapman is an agricultural and natural resources economist with over 25 years of experience in agricultural development, with special interests in agricultural research, agribusiness, biotechnology and agricultural policy. In Haiti, Dr. Chapman has been instrumental in developing project proposals, strategies and plans for the Hillside Agricultural Development Program (HAP), the Hurricane Jeanne Recovery Program (HJRP), World Vision’s Multi-Year Activities Plan livelihoods component (MYAP), and the Development Economique pour an Environment Durable program (DEED). He has extensive consulting experience with international firms and NGOs, including key staff positions with Chemonics, World Vision and DAI. He has extensive practical knowledge of small farm agriculture production and marketing, having worked on a number of projects in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the United States, Dr. Chapman has an MS and PhD from Michigan State University.
